JEE Advanced Exam 2024: Gateway To Top-Notch Engineering Colleges
Formerly known as the IIT-JEE, JEE Advance stands for Joint Entrance Examination. The exam is given to grant admission to the engineering, science, and architecture departments of the IITs. The JEE Advanced test is conducted in two shifts, with three hours allotted to each paper. Thus, the JEE Advanced exam lasts for six hours every day in total. It is held once a year in both Hindi and English. A maximum of two attempts may be made in a consecutive year for JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria 2024
The applicants can use the form below to verify if they are eligible to compete in JEE Advanced 2024.
There are five requirements:
- JEE Main 2024 scores: Applicants must rank among the top 2,50,000 successful applicants in the BE/BTech Paper of JEE (Main) 2024 (across all categories). The table and graph below display the number of candidates who will be allowed to appear in each category for JEE Advanced 2024.

- Age requirement: Applicants must be born on October 1, 1999, or later. Candidates who are SC, ST, or PwD are eligible for a five-year age relaxation; that is, they must have been born on or after October 1, 1994.
- Attempt number: The maximum number of times a candidate may attempt JEE (Advanced) in two years is twice. Candidates who are making their first appearance at JEE Advanced 2024 may also register for JEE Advanced 2025.
- Attendance in Class XII (or similar) Exam: JEE Advanced 2024 is open to those who completed Class 12 in 2023 or 2024.
- Previous admission to IITs: Candidates should not have been admitted to an IIT previously.
