Age Limit for MAT Exams 2024

Language Comprehension: The language comprehension section checks candidates’ thinking and problem-solving tendencies. This consists of a total of 30 questions. The verbal Reasoning section checks individual proficiency and fluency in the English language. Reading comprehension is an important part of the syllabus as it evaluates a candidate’s ability to understand and interpret written text, while English Grammar tests an individual ability to understand the basic rules and structure of the English language. Word Meaning and Verbal Ability are essential to test the vocabulary and candidate’s ability to use words effectively in communication.
Critical Reasoning: Critical Reasoning consists of 30 questions. The critical reasoning section checks candidates’ thinking and problem-solving tendencies. Critical Reasoning syllabus consists of these topics: Coding-Decoding, Critical Reasoning, Statement Conclusions, Puzzles, Blood Relations, etc. Coding-Decoding tests your ability to decipher codes or patterns, Statement Conclusions, and Blood Relations. Mathematical Skills: Mathematical Skills is one of the sections that measures individual numerical ability and problem-solving skills. Quantitative skills consist of 30 questions. The mathematical skills syllabus covers a wide range of topics related to math like Arithmetic, Trigonometry, Geometry, Algebra, Mensuration, and Modern Math.
